Catrice is one of my most favourite pharmacy brands, I have been a fan since before I started my blog. Back then my holy grails were there eyebrow pencil, gel like nail polishes and mascara. Now most things I try of the brand seem to stay in my everyday make up routine eg Liquid Camouflage Concealer and I still use the eye brow pencil pretty much daily! There was no doubt I was going to love this Catrice Blush Trio!
One product of theirs I have never tried is their blushers, I am a huge fan of their bronzers as the pigment is just right and not orangey, I also love their highlighters except I can never seem to find them in stock anywhere! Having loved their powdery cheek products I was so excited to try out the Catrice Blush Artist Shading palette that was sent to me, in the shade 020 Corall-I-Need – this is available in three other colour variants I currently have my eye on 010 Bronzeeclat.
As you can see all three shades are of the same hue yet all three offer something different. These three Catrice blushers all have a slight shimmer to them and are pigmented enough to use one swirl of your brush for an application.
As you can see above the hot pink shade is the most pigmented which I think would work so well on a darker skin tone, I tend to use the middle and last shade with my favourite being the bottom shade. It is like no other blush I own being that it has more of a beige undertone as apposed to pink or coral. This makes it very subtle on the cheeks but it still gives definition and makes the face look golden with its glitter flecks.
For under R100 this Catrice blush palette is a win, the perfect palette for your make up bag if you’re going away as you can create three different cheek looks with this bad boy!
