Another week, another TRESemmé review and NYFW inspired hairstyle, which means we are getting close to a sneaky giveaway! So make sure you have read both blog posts; the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth and TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume reviews.
Today I’m going to be reviewing my favourite TRESemmé range.. Platinum Strength! Let me give you a little back story as to why this is my favourite at the moment, one word BLEACH. This year I have been grey, pink, grey, white and blonde all of which involve bleach which inevitably involve breakage and very weak hair. So my hair needs have shiffted slightly post bleaching and I now have another aspect that I need to fulfill… breakage and a lot of it! That is why the TRESemmé Platinum Strength range is my favourite at the moment, as always it smells amazing, cleans the hair throughly leaves it feeling so soft and I have noticed a dramatic change in the amount of breakage which just shows that it really does fortify and coat the hair making it stronger whoop whoop!
As always we are going to go through two NYFW hair styles where the TRESemmé Platinum Strength range have been used and we again we will be using this guide:
Styling should not be about forcing your hair to conform but embracing and celebrating what makes it unique. Use products that best enhance your hair’s individual texture and don’t be afraid to experiment and layer your favourites together to find what suits you best’Orlando Pita, TRESemmé New York Fashion Week Ambassador
Products and Tools needed:
- Blow Dryer
- Curling Tong
- Soft Bristle Brush
- TRESemmé Platinum Strength Shampoo & Condtioner
- TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximiser
- Hairspray
STEP 1: Start by washing your hair with TRESemmé Platinum Strength Shampoo and Conditioner to restore strength and moisture.
STEP 2: Apply a coin size amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximiser from root to tip, working through the hair in small sections. Blow dry on a low heat, running your fingers through your hair as you go to enhance your individual texture.
STEP 3: Separate hair into large sections and curl each one with a 1-inch barrel tong, holding the tongs loosely for a soft wave. Repeat this process on all sections.
STEP 4: Create a soft centre part and lightly comb the hair with a soft bristle brush. Be careful not to break up the hair too much, but create some lift at the roots. Finish with a light spray of Hairspray.
‘Keep your roots matte and apply gloss only to your ends, this will give you natural healthy looking hair and shine where it matters.’ Chris Naselli, New York Fashion Week Ambassador for TRESemmé.
