Today I wanted to share with you all one of my most favourite liquid lipsticks and guess what unlike my ColourPop post these are available at your local clicks – YAY!
Introducing Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte I stumbled upon these by total accident, swatched a few and walked away with Engine Red. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect as Yardley is not a brand I gravitate to, although my favourite scent as a tween was the Yardley Gold I remember my aunty buying it for me and it was just my favourite! Ever since then it’s been a brand that hasn’t been on my radar that is until now!
After using Engine Red for the first time I was obsessed and went straight back to pick up Miss Mauve, the formula is not sticky or drying. It also leaves a stain on the lips which literally means no reapplying is needed, if you do need to reapply it doesn’t turn crumbly or blotchy at all which means it’s basically full proof. It does transfer so it’s not for puckering up!
When I first discovered these the colour range was not huge but I have noticed that the range has expanded and there are some really nice pinks available now.
Top to Bottom: Miss Mauve, Killer Pink, Femme Fatale and Engine Red
Miss Mauve is such an interesting shade more, its kind of browny purple and is probably one of my favourites!
I think Killer pink shade is pretty much a dupe for MAC Candy Yum Yum a bright blue toned pink.
Femme Fatake is a beautiful brown toned burgundy
Engine Red the name says it all it is the perfect fire engine red.
